Our History

Tom Stolt began his career as a marine technician in 1987 because of his love of fishing and boating. In 2001, Tom and Knatalie Stolt started Eagle Marine Service Inc as a mobile marine service. The business quickly took off and a year later, they leased their first location. Over the years, the business has steadily grown in both customer base and the expansion of services which include storage, maintenance, buff, wax & boat detailing, pickup and delivery. Also, because of Knatalie’s love of sewing she learned to sew canvas and upholstery. She attended two accredited canvas and upholstery schools. Eagle Marine Service Inc quickly became certified dealers of Volvo Penta, Yamaha, and Evinrude. In 2013, with the addition of Manitou Pontoon sales, it was clear they had outgrown the building they'd been leasing for 11 years. They moved to a new location on South M-75 in Boyne City. With the added space, we began selling Starcraft / Starweld fishing boats, Crest Pontoon & Premier Pontoons and added Mercury, Mercuriser motors as well.

In 2021 we sold our property on M-75 in Boyne City. We kept three of our storage building which are located at 6353 Dutchman Bay Road, East Jordan so we could semi retire and exclusively take care of our storage customers. The services we provide are storage, pickup and delivery, maintenance, buff, wax & detail, canvas & upholstery. In 2023 Knatalie opened Northstar Canvas & Upholstery and opened her shop at their home.
